On the second ballot, Kennedy hardly grew and Sousa declined—so any hope for a third contender to win, if there ever was one, is gone. Fascinatingly, Kennedy took his whole team backstage for a group chat. Sousa, like Takhar and Hoskins before him, had small chats on his stage with a small group. As far as respect for your team, Kennedy’s move looked fantastic.
